Ambarish Biswas
Having background in Computer Science and Engineering (Bachelor's Degree)
and Bioinformatics (Master's Degree), one of the core team members of SDWA
project, taking care of almost all the major IT related issues.
Previously working in SMB Lab. in Dept. Biological Sciences (DBS), NUS, where
his contribution towards development of few Bioinformatics Software package and
Biological Databases enhanced the research work to a great extent. He single handedly
managed not only the new developmental issues, as well as leading a young team of
master's students towards their project works. Developing and maintaining the http://smbl.nus.edu.sg/
server was one of his other contributions.
His present work scope and responsibility involves with:
- Designing and implementing software to measure “Water Flow in Urban Area”,
- Helping contractors to build test beds to obtain different important parameters,
- Building new methods for speedy and accurate process, analysis and visualization
of Biological Data.
- Designing and implementation of biological databases,
- Server maintenance
Career Interests:
His career interest involves in having a PhD. in either Computer Science or Bioinformatics
or any related research area.
