Sanjay Swarup
Dr Sanjay Swarup is an Associate Professor at the Department of Biological Sciences,
National University of Singapore. He holds PhD degrees in Plant Breeding and in
Plant Pathology from IARI, India and Univ. of Florida, USA, respectively. His postdoctoral
training was in maize genetics at the Rutger's University, USA. His research group
at NUS has developed an integrative biology approach in a pioneering field called
metabolomics to understand metabolic networks. His group has applied these in diverse
areas such as natural product pathways, bioremediation, biofilm signaling and stress
responses.
